Exams for high school students
AP French language and culture
College Board’s Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies—with the opportunity to earn college credits, advanced placement, or both—while still in high school.
Taking AP courses demonstrates to college admission officers that students have sought the most challenging curriculum available to them, and research indicates that students who score a 3 or higher on an AP Exam typically experience greater academic success in college and are more likely to earn a college degree than non-AP students.

SAT French Subject Test
The French Subject Test is a great way to highlight your knowledge of written French and demonstrate your interest in the French language on your college applications. In addition, a strong score could help you fulfill basic language competency requirements or place out of introductory-level French courses.
