Learning Disabilities

Some children have more difficulties than others establishing the neural basis of learning.

Marianne  Yayane Verbuyt has extensive experience in the field of customized education for children with learning disabilities. She believes in the power of empathy.

She worked at Votre Ecole Chez Vous and at the Necker Hospital (Paris, France) where she taught pedagogical re-education to students with disabling injuries, chronic illness, congenital disabilities as well as children diagnosed with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, dysphasia, dysgraphia and dysorthographia.

Throughout the years, Marianne has consulted to schools on providing the best education for special-needs children.

Helping children with learning disabilities is a real passion for Marianne.

Her patience and care allows her to discover how the student learns. She uses an individualized approach to give them the tools they need to perform well.

We invite you to contact us if you have any questions regarding your child or a student.

Classes are taught in French but are open to English speakers.

Testimonial

" A true alchemist of learning, Marianne knew, with intelligence and empathy, how to encourage confidence in our son and help him to persevere where others had told us to give up... After years of wandering with uncertain educational teams, our son had the chance to meet Yayane who revolutionized his life as a schoolboy. She methodically re-created with him the fundamentals of knowledge to give him a solid pedagogical foundation and allow him to succeed in Grade 4. "
